Talent International launched the 2014 Talent Unleashed Awards at Café Sydney Restaurant perched above Circular Quay overlooking a shimmering Sydney Harbour on Tuesday the 18th of March.
The breakfast launch saw Founder and Managing Director of Talent International Richard Earl announce all the new judges and expanded awards categories and also shed some light on issues close to his heart regarding the APAC start up scene, IT&T professionals globally and of course rewarding and encouraging great talent wherever it may be.
“It’s time we saw more initiatives and more focus and investment in the technology and digital economies across the whole APAC region. We need to celebrate and reward talented individuals and make a change to the IT&T sector so it can flourish and add to communities and economies when manufacturing and mining are softening in our regions” Mr Earl said.
Also talking to the audience was Duncan Ward, last year’s winner and Founder of the Classroom of Hope, the Cambodian based charity improving schools and the education of children in deprived regions.
Our guests were a lively mix of press, clients, candidates, supporters and friends and all enjoyed catching up since last year’s inaugural awards celebration.
